I am an Architectural Technologist with over 20 years of experience. I have delivered projects from concept through to construction across sectors including residential, education, industrial, and community developments.

In 2019, I became self-employed and founded Guida Design Ltd. Working for myself has provided greater flexibility to balance my career with family life. Much of my work has been for two small architectural practices, APX Architecture and Kube Architecture, where I focus primarily on drawing production and technical information rather than client-facing roles. Over time, I have increasingly specialised in 3D visualisation, discovering both a strong aptitude for it and a real enjoyment of the process.

From 2013-2018, I worked at BDB Design LLP, focusing on technical design for new build and refurbishment residential projects, including large masterplanning schemes and high-specification internal fittings.

Previously, I worked at Design ID Ltd, managing projects from early design through to completion, resolving planning and building control issues, and coordinating with contractors. The practice specialised in the design and interior layout of public houses, hotels, and retail spaces.

Before this, I worked at Mervyn Gulvin Architects, where I gained experience in planning, building regulations, and residential developments ranging from domestic extensions to apartment blocks.

I began my career in 2003 at Lee Evans Partnership as a junior, developing experience across multiple sectors and learning to deliver projects from design through to construction.

​

I hold an HNC in Architectural Technology from Canterbury College (2006) and a Certificate of Higher Education in Architecture from the University for the Creative Arts in Canterbury.
